Dear Students and Parents,

On behalf of the entire Averroes Academy team, we would like to wish you a Happy New Year 2026 filled with health, success, and new opportunities.

We would like to remind everyone that regular Zoom sessions resumed on January 3, 2026, and students are encouraged to continue actively working on their courses through the Moodle platform, which remains fully accessible at all times.

As we move forward into the final weeks of the Fall term, please note that the Fall 2025 term will officially end on January 30, 2026. By this date, students are expected to have completed their current courses, including all required coursework, assessments, and final evaluations. This makes it especially important to stay organized, manage time effectively, and maintain a consistent independent study schedule.

We encourage all students to use this time wisely, attend scheduled Zoom sessions, and reach out to their teachers or the academic team if support or clarification is needed.

We look forward to a productive and successful start to 2026 and to supporting our students as they work toward their academic goals.

During the Christmas Break, live Zoom classes and meetings will not be held. However, the Moodle platform will remain fully accessible, and students are encouraged to continue working independently on their lessons and assignments during this time.

We are excited to announce that Averroes Academy will be participating in the Fryer, Galois, and Hypatia (FGH) Math Contests this year! Organized by the University of Waterloo, these grade-specific contests provide an excellent opportunity to enhance problem-solving and communication skills through a full-solution contest format.

• Galois Contest – For Grade 10 students
• Hypatia Contest – For Grade 11 students

• North & South America: Thursday, April 3, 2025
• Outside North & South America: Friday, April 4, 2025
